Welcome to Bishopscourt
Bishopscourt is a stately Victorian mansion (circa 1876), set on 1/2 acre of gardens in the heart of historic Bendigo.
Bishopscourt has a rich and colourful history. Built for eminent surgeon and scientist Paul Howard MacGillivray as a private home and surgery, (the largest private residence in Bendigo at that time) Bishopscourt later spent 64 years as the Anglican Churches Bishops Palace, before coming into private ownership in the 1980's.
As a guest you will enjoy an atmosphere of comfort, spaciousness and tranquility.
You may choose to relax in the shade of the oak tree, sit back in a sumptuous lounge in front of the open fire with a book selected from the extensive library, or even play a game of croquet in the lower garden.
